Principal's Letter July 2019
Welcome back to school! I trust that our Saints are well-rested and well-prepared for the second half of the year. Although semester 2 is shorter (only 19 instead of 20 weeks), our Saints continue to have enriching and exciting learning experiences planned out for them.
Primary One Registration Exercise 2019
Children born between 2 Jab 2013 and 1 Jan 2014 can participate in the 2019 Primary One (P1) Registration Exercise for admission to P1 classes in 2020.
Every child is unique, and has different aptitudes, capabilities and talents. Our schools believe in providing a balanced education that caters to the different abilities of each child so that we can prepare him for life.
Subject-based Banding (Pri) was introduced as a refinement to the streaming process to help each child realise his potential, based on his strengths and needs.
School Homework Policy
The purpose of homework is to support the teaching in class and provide opportunities for pupils to apply the knowledge and skills learnt in the classroom. It will enable pupils to realise their responsibility for independent learning and strengthen their good study habits and skills.
Homework should also serve as a form of formative assessment to provide valuable feedback for learning.
